Joshua Berry has spent his career studying how people grow and what makes teams work. He spent nearly a decade at a talent assessment company, teaching leaders how to interview and spot patterns in people, before cofounding Econic, the leadership consulting firm he has led as CEO for 11 years. Over 22 years he has worked alongside teams at P&G, Microsoft, John Deere, U.S. Bank, Ameritas and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska, helping leaders stop doing change to their people and start doing it with them.
His new book, Team-Led Results: How Great Teams Turn Uncertainty into Momentum (Ideapress Publishing, distributed by Simon & Schuster, February 16, 2027), turns that work into a practical handbook built on four foundations: Groundwork, Alignment, Iteration and Celebration. Each chapter ends with Starting Moves, small steps a team can try on Monday morning.
Joshua is also the author of Dare to Be Naive and a TEDx speaker. His keynotes come straight from the book: real stories and one Starting Move people can try the next morning. Fair warning, there’s always an interactive portion of the show. He lives in Nebraska, where he’s still learning that the first next safest action is usually smaller than he thinks.
